Artist Statement
These works explore the seasonal transition from Winter to Spring. Winter is important in the rejuvenation of ourselves, our souls and our home, from our physical bodies to the world we inhabit.
Winter can be a cold, inhospitable and lonely season. One where we may long for the floral fragrances of Spring, the warm sun of Summer or the mercurial colors of Autumn. Yet, when we engage winter as it is meant to be, a time for rest, renewal and rumination we may find deep solace in this time of solitude.
In this place, we nurture inspiration like flower bulbs lying dormant waiting to burgeon at Spring's awakening. May your heart blossom with the sweetness of Spring flowers and glow with the warmth of the rising sun.
Namaste.
