Georgina has a natural collaborative approach to her design process. She believes that open engagement with clients inevitably leads to a more comprehensive and integrated expression of their objectives.
Georgina has worked on a wide body of work that speaks for itself, encompassing the sectors of residential, retail, commercial and hospitality. Georgina retains her curiosity, wonder and excitement for the design process, which always begins and ends in a new place.
With a fine art background and a degree in Interior Design from RMIT (Melbourne), Georgina has worked for some of Australia’s most notable design practices with emphasis on expanding her design career whilst working for a leading practice in Kuala Lumpur before collaborating with Rose and establishing Studio Yugen.
Rose Grayson believes that synergy is key through all aspects of the design process, from the concept phase through to practical completion.
Rose has developed her skills extensively over her career representing both local and international clients. She believes that collaboration is integral to delivering a client’s goal and understands that the key to successful design stems from building long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Rose gained her Graduate Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration from CATC (Brisbane), and since has had the privilege of working across many different disciplines of design including residential, high-rise developments, hospitality and Indonesian resorts.
